At Smart Emergency Technologies we realise that local battery solutions are not always the correct choice for some projects. Whilst new technologies like LiFePO4 batteries have greatly improved reliability and longevity of local battery solutions, temperature, light output and environment still pose challenges in certain applications.
We recognise that central battery systems offer some big advantages for these types of areas as they are designed to have the battery in a remote location away from the lit area and can provide 230Vdc output which means luminaires can be run at full output if required. This makes central batteries ideal for areas such as refrigeration, exterior lighting such as bollards, 24Vdc LED tape, high ceiling areas such as warehouses, high risk areas such as kitchens, industrial workshops and operating theatres/treatment rooms.
