MCP Central Battery Systems

The MCP family of products is built around a 230V AC/DC central battery platform, delivering output capacities between 275W and 750W with a three-hour duration.

All MCPs are fully compliant with BS EN 50171 and can be supplied with either circuit monitoring or individual luminaire monitoring. The MCP can be linked to a PC where a user interface allows access to detailed reports, test records, and scheduled testing information.

The MCP operates on a 230V AC/DC system, so it is compatible with virtually any LED drivers. When fixed-output drivers are used, the system delivers 100% light output during emergency operation. If DALI LED drivers are used many are capable of having the DC output adjusted for emergency mode. Out of the box most DALI Drivers come preset to 15% output in DC mode, but this can also be adjusted to achieve specific light levels for different applications. Having this flexibility ensures the battery capacity is tailored to the project needs making it more cost effective.

Full support is offered by Smart Emergency Technologies Ltd with full system design, integration support and a commissioning service. We can provide a comprehensive range of compatible luminaires and exit signs, and can offer an upgrade service if existing luminaires need to be modified.
