The MCP201 static inverter provides a 230V AC/AC centralised battery platform, delivering an output capacity of 90W with a three-hour duration. It is designed as an entry level cost effective centralised battery solution and is ideal for applications where a small number of luminaires are needed in emergency mode. With the ability to provide 100% output in emergency mode the system can be used in high risk areas or where local battery solutions are not an option.
As it is a 230V AC/AC system, the MCP201 is compatible with any mains LED drivers. With compliance with BS EN 50172 and BS EN 60598-2-22, deep discharge protection and integrated switch for on lock and threshold switching are included. The supply is handled by a maintenance-free, long life and gas-proof Pb rechargeable battery and the fully electronic and time-controlled charging ensures an extended battery life. The built-in monitoring display shows the operating status and faults, whilst manual activation of a function test is possible through the control panel test button.
